HOPE

The objectives of the HOPE project will be achieved through actions aimed at developing and strengthening the competences of students, informal caregivers and professionals in the fields of health, care and social work of older adults to better respond to the needs of older adults during heat waves and thus better mitigate risks.

One of the project objectives is to design and implement an innovative teaching tool for students and formal/informal carers to enhance skills that contribute to better care for the elderly.

The consortium partners will also define actions to support and stimulate organisations in the elderly ecosystem to apply the guidelines and best practices of care during heatwaves, implementing content and a database of good practices in collaboration with associated partners, elderly persons and caregivers, fostering an integrated approach that will enable further adoption of the results by other organisations and authorities.
