SHES Project Final Conference

Updated: Apr 19, 2022

The project SHES - Sharing Economy for Seniors - has come to an end with the final conference. The project, funded by the European Commission's Erasmus+ programme, aimed to identify ways and means by which the sharing economy can help older people.

Due to the social nature of many of the initiatives related to the sharing economy, such as sharing rides, renting out rooms in flats and time banks, the pandemic has been a major obstacle for the project. But, thanks to the commitment and curiosity of the people who participated, the project ended with a success: the production of the SHES Guide to the Sharing Economy for Seniors! A free document introducing the tools that enable people to take advantage of these opportunities, such as smartphones and computers, and also illustrating some famous examples of the sharing economy!

This guide, together with the results of the research conducted by the partners were presented during the final SHES conference which took place on 23rd March in Treviso with more than 100 participants!
