SHES Project Second Transnational Meeting

The second transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ SHES (Sharing Economy for Seniors) project, aimed at providing skills for older people to make the most of the opportunities offered by the Sharing Economy, ended in November.

After the pandemic-related stop, conditions finally allowed us to meet the other members of the consortium in Valencia, at the headquarters of the Fyg Consultores partners.

The meeting was a turning point to plan the actions that will cover the last period of the project (ending with the final conference in March 2022 in Treviso)!

The meeting was also an opportunity to take stock of the results of the workshops conducted by the various partners with seniors during the past months, presenting the guide to the sharing economy (one of the Intellectual Output of the project) and its contents.

Relevant was the feedback from participants on how to approach these new (at least partly) ways of sharing goods and expertise, especially related to trust in systems (especially related to payments), perceived self-competence and trust in people one does not know.

Part of the meeting was dedicated to the Learning, Training and Teaching Activity (LTTA), planned for February 2022, in which we will accompany 5 people over 65 for a training of about 5 days in Ljubljana, focusing on the results and insights from the workshops and the SHES!
